Another cool Firefox extension that I've missed is "xoopit". It finds photos, videos and other files in your Gmail Inbox, and presents them in a gallery view. Looks cool, but I don't like that you must give the service your Gmail password...
See what other thinks about xoopit here.
Browse all your email and web photos and videos in one spot. Easily find and access your files Quick share to friends, Facebook or your blog Stay connected with your friends, comment on their photos, or pass them along. Firefox extension Xoopit turns Gmail into a robust, searchable media management tool for every piece of media that comes through your inbox. lets you view, sort and share all the media in your GMail inbox through a web page, Firefox plug-in or Google Gadget. The basic concept is that your email inbox is a more useful social networking tool than Facebook, MySpace, or other services In other words, if you receive a URL link from one of your friends via an email, the photos appear in what’s essentially a gallery view. |
