I think Lifestreaming is the blogging of the future. Really.
If we using services like Swurl, Friendfeed, Tumblr and more, then we could use all our favorite social networks and get a blog (Lifestream) automatically that presents all the content that we create on all the different social networks that we use.
It doesn't matter anymore what service we use, all is presented in one centralized place anyway.
See my web site at www.svartling.net as an example what we could do. I am not saying that it is the best way to doit, but It suits my needs to present what I do around the net.
Some tech factors have started the move: iPhone proving that mobile can provide fine web experience, as well as indirectly facilitating the spread of unlimited access to the Internet on mobile, general will to tend to simplicity, speed, efficiency. And a new web generation has risen. A new generation to which blogging is fine, but too slow, not that easy, and not that much efficient. And some old and tired of blogging famous people (hey, that’s already 4 years blogging being trendy) willing to retire, but without loosing all connections to where they belong (sort of).Romain Pechard, Social Tools + Twitter + Trend = Lifestreaming is the new big, Aug 2008
