"I feel a bit like Steve Ballmer predicting that the iPhone won't sell well here. And I am not saying that. Google Navigation will be popular. I just don't think it is time to give up on the portable navigation devices and software just yet" http://www.pcworld.com/article/174744/google_navigation_is_cool_but_its_no_garminkiller.html
- Well I think it will have a HUGE impact on GPS hardware makers like Garmin and TomTom.
Other software solutions like Navigons MobileNavigator for iPhone already has that.
I believe that in a near future we will only use software GPS solutions in our advanced mobile units instead of specific GPS hardware units.
That's the future and it works pretty well.
I sold My TomTom GPS because I think the Navigon App is soo good so I don't need another unit for navigation.
