Added a widget with Tweets & Feedback containing KnowledgeBase links – Even ReTweets (Update!)

Image representing FriendFeed as depicted in C...Image via CrunchBase

I’ve added a widget in the sidebar to the right, with the latest feedback: tweets, comments and blog posts with links to my KnowledgeBase. It’s even shows your ReTweets!
So all Twitter users that Retweet my tweets with a KnowledgeBase link in it will be listed in this widget. That way you can get more traffic and more followers!
Isn’t that great?

This means that it can be worthwhile to “RT” my Tweets ;)

Of course will your Tweets and blog posts be listed in the widget too, if you link to clipotech or KnowledgeBase search results yourself.

Update: All feedback is now published in a FriendFeed room, so you can also interact with comments & likes there! Be a room member here.

At the moment these feeds are showed in the widget:

Is Twitter great for conversations?

Communication code scheme

Image via Wikipedia

I’ve posted a tweet about Twitter and the future of online conversations, and that I think Twitter works OK for mini discussions. Great for Connections, but I think also great for communication.

What do you think about Twitter and the future of online conversations? (see replies below).

Here are some of my followers replies on that Tweet:

svartling: The future of online conversations is NOT Twitter http://tinyurl.com/coluqh I disagree with this. I think it works ok. What do you think?

ghostposts: People talk in too many ways. Twitter has a long life ahead of it, but there will never be only one main way of communicating.
ghostposts: That fact alone invalidates his entire premise

PhilBaumann: agree partially...twitter's not for full-blown traditional conversation...but it is a future of communication.

sapphirecut: "future of twitter" it is great for making connections, but trying to have conversations is hard; have to be good to keep track

nilsholmlov: I think coldacid has a point re the current state of conversations on Twitter. Cuz it sucks. He ignores future development though

Twitter: Follow them who gives something back

Image representing Twitter as depicted in Crun...

Image via CrunchBase

There is a lot of talking about Fake following at the moment, so I posted a Tweet about that I’ve cleaned up who I follows on Twitter. I don’t want to follow users that’s not giving something back to me, but it doesn’t matter if a user not follows you back if that user is great for News and Information. In that case the user gives knowledge back to you.

Follow me on Twitter!

Here are some of all the replies and conversations I’ve got on that Tweet:

svartling: Cleaned up on who I follows. Why follow them who not follows back or never answers or make contact?

Avinio: This is what i've done last week. especially those who ask a question/need help, and never reply you back.
JohanHedberg: Because I'm a stalker? :D Honestly, I understand if Obama wouldn't follow me. Otherwise I always recommend to follow all.
mistrust: re following: twitter is maybe becoming the new myspace where people just collect followers/friends and never contact them
about 7 hours ago
denstar: one reason off-hand, which I learned from Roger Rabbit: Because they make you laugh. =)
choirshark: some people you follow because they have very interesting points of view, I don't mind if they don't follow back .. they're nodes

bwalder: RT @svartling: Cleaned up on who I follows. Why follow them who not follows back or never answers or make contact? <- To get information?!!!

bonda0123: : Did you cleaned me too buddy :D

svartling: @Avinio Yeah, absolutely right. I've always replied on my @replies
about 7 hours ago
Avinio: Right. and this is the meaning of twitter. conversations. first thing i do when i open tweetdeck, it's reply my my @replies.

svartling: @Avinio Same here. And I get all my @replies as email with the notify.me service. That way I never miss a reply or question.
Avinio: And that's why you are valuable for your community. well done!

svartling: @Avinio Thank you for your kind words. Nice to hear :)
Avinio: You are more then welcome :) always happy to meet people who knows the meaning of SOCIAL networks.

svartling: @denstar Yes, but then they give you something back and thats cool. I follow those who give me something back.
denstar: guess it wouldn't make sense to follow something that didn't have value for you, big 10-4 there. 'Specially with marketers, etc.
denstar: I've come across a couple already who seem to be... well, it reminds me of the .com bubble. The social media bubble, as it were.
