Twittelator for iPhone adds search fields on every Twitter Stream

svartling ™ – Posted via buzz@gmail Apr 6, 2010
My Twitter iPhone App of choice, Twittelator has been updated to
version 3.8. One of the coolest new features is a search field above
every Twitter stream. That means that we now can search in the Twitter
streams directly.

Grey Drane – Don't suppose you've tried SimplyTweet version 3, have
you? It's a paid upgrade, but I haven't noticed any significant new
features that would make it worth paying for again. Apr 6, 2010

svartling ™ – Actually I had a beta account for it but I never used
it. Like you I don't think version three has more features that is
worth to pay for again. So no I haven't tried it and Twittelator has
everything I need. Apr 6, 2010

Grey Drane – Yeah, Twittelator is great. Just wish it would do its
own push notifications, though. Apr 6, 2010

svartling ™ – That's true but as I Said before I use the App
Notifications app for all my Push Notifications and it works great for
me. Apr 7, 2010

Grey Drane – Yeah, I use iTweetReply because it doesn't have an
ongoing charge for notifications like most of the other competing apps
do, and it works well enough, but it's not ideal. Plus it takes up
space on my iPhone screen for essentially no reason. OK, that's a
minor irritant, but still.... ;) Apr 7, 2010

svartling ™ – Heh! I can understand you :) Of course it would be
better if Twittelator has it's own Push notifications, but I believe
that means that the developer needs some kind of server for managing
that and that is probably too much to handle for him. Apr 7, 2010
