The battle between Apple and Google in the mobile space has been heating up lately, but new market share numbers from research firm Nielsen show the race isn't even close. - and the margins will be even bigger after tomorrow :)

According to a report released late Friday that compares the fourth quarter of 2009 and the first quarter of 2010, Apple's iPhone OS has more than triple the market share Google's Android operating system has. Nielsen puts the iPhone OS market share at 28 percent, while Android's is at 9 percent.

ServersMan HD, a free iPad app for wireless file sharing. This app looks awesome! Too bad it has too much Japanese in the UI.

This free software from Japan turns your iPad into a wireless web server so you can upload and download stuff onto it from anywhere in the world. FreeBit Co Ltd, the firm behind ServersMan HD, describes the app as a “personal cloud in your life” that lets you access contents of your iPad wirelessly, via any browser.

It's Not Just Apple: Google Hates Flash Too - Mee too!

I hope Adobe's Flash will die fast!

So while you might be tempted to feel sorry for Adobe for being picked on by Steve Jobs, the reality is he's the only one expressing an opinion. Google basically hates flash as well.

PCs Are Going to Be Like Trucks. Less People Will Need Them

Steve@D8 - "PCs Are Going to Be Like Trucks. Less People Will Need Them."
http://goo.gl/fb/qcWHM

When we were an agrarian nation, all cars were trucks. But as people moved more towards urban centers, people started to get into cars. I think PCs are going to be like trucks. Less people will need them. And this is going to make some people uneasy.

Great Summary: Steve Jobs on Adobe, Gizmodo and why iPad came before iPhone

Here is a great summary of the Steve Jobs Interview. I really like this sentence: "The iPad will develop as a tool for content creation"

- That is exactly what I believe too.

The future looks bright! :)

Review: Comic Zeal 4 for the iPad - Great app for Comics!

Here is a great review of a Comic Reading for iPad. I've used it on the iPhone and it works even great there!

Comic Zeal 4 is a killer app for the iPad. Comic reading has been stressed by Apple as being a major use of the iPad and an important marketing point, and no app does that better than Comic Zeal 4.
