Ten Tips for Mastering the IPad
Cyberspace Web Browser for iOS - Is my most important app right now
Cyberspace web browser for iOS has become my most important app on my iPhone/iPad. It makes it so easy to Read/Share/Blog directly from the Browser. It has helped my take the jump from the failing site Amplify.com. Now I can blog anywhere I want and share it anywhere I want, and get interaction from many different places. All thanks to Cyberspace. Find more info here: http://goo.gl/ej7PU
Developers plan for iPad 2 graphics boost
We will see a lot of new cool apps for the iPad 2 that’s for sure. There is no risk for fragmentation (as on Android) either because iOS is build to work on more versions. If the hardware can’t handle the most advanced graphics in a game for example, it automatically chooses a lower setting. Just as it works on a PC - If you don’t have an advanced graphics card you can choose lower resolution and lower details. I also thinks we will see other apps than games using the better hardware. Advanced photo editing, video editing, music making software and other professional creation apps. http://bit.ly/gkxsmC
iPhone 5 To Revert Back To Aluminum Back & Internal Antenna?
The iPhone 4 in glass is the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. Nothing comes near it, but I admit that it’s not so practical and the back gets scratches, so maybe aluminum could be great too if Apple decides to use that. I am sure it will not look cheap and plastic anyways. http://bit.ly/echwpF
iPad 2 speed test shows it's 4x faster than original iPad, thrashes Android
This looks very good. iOS 4.3 will make both my iPhone 4 and iPad 1 a lot faster! I cant wait until friday (march 11) when iOS 4.3 is released. Also, amazing how fast the iPad 2 is. http://bit.ly/fipdWA

Motorola - to compete against iPad 2, you need a cheaper XOOM
Who will buy the Xoom for $799 without apps, when you can buy the iPad 2 for only $499 with 65,000 apps? Not me anyways… Normal smartphone apps on a such a screen resolution is useless. The Xoom needs special tablet apps. It’s DOA. http://bit.ly/hrEenN
iOS Multitasking - It Doesn’t Need To Be PC-like
No, multitasking on iOS should not be PC-like. Definitely not. I can be very productive with the iOS multi-tasking with the right apps. For example PasteBot that saves everything you copy. Cyberspace web browser with the built-in scratchpad that makes it possible to write in the same window as the web page. It also has textexpander built-in so it makes it easy to code and type. I like the iOS multi-tasking. http://bit.ly/eXvuat
Apple Informatory: iPad's Quietly Impressive New Feature
New Google Profiles: Decide what the world sees when it searches for you
I noticed these new profiles today when I was looking for new ways to post news now when Amplify is gone for me. I think these new Profiles and post pages looks great! I will definitely start using Google Buzz more now. Here is my Profile:
Today, we’re starting to give Google Profiles a new look and feel, making it even easier for you to control and enrich your public profile.
We think this new design helps highlight the information that’s most important to you, making it easier for people who visit your profile to get to know you. As the new layout gradually rolls out, current users of Google Profiles will notice that their existing profile will automatically update to the new style. To update and add to your profile, simply click on the new “Edit Profile” button. http://goo.gl/1D7Xz
Will Mobile Safari Get Faster With iOS 4.3? Yes but the big difference is the A5 CPU
If Mobile Safari gets faster in iOS 4.3 it makes the whole web experience better. I think the dual-core A5 processor is more important for browsing the web though. That will make the big difference. http://bit.ly/gNa9ni

HTC Flyer Handled Offers Strong Palm Rejection
I still don’t think that a Stylus is the future. I don’t like that idea. Its just for some special software from HTC though, so I guess you can still use the Flyer and other Android apps as usual.

The new MobileRSS HD (for iPad) is very good - better than Reeder
I like the new UI better than Reeder. Very nice to just swipe left and right to read posts. And the new "Automatically download full post text" from feeds that is not full is brilliant!

Report: No Microsoft Tablet OS Until 2012, Windows 8
- if Microsoft will not have a tablet OS until 2012 they will loose this race big time.
http://bit.ly/i6IR4gThe Apple iPad 2 Effect - Samsung Rethinks Its Galaxy Tab 10.1
- the iPad 2 will have a lot of influence on the whole competition! It will be interesting to see how they will manage to compete with it's price for example. iPad will be a creation device this year and not only a consuming device. It will crush netbooks and laptops totally.
http://tablets-informatory.blogspot.com/2011/03/apple-ipad-2-effect-samsung-r...Apple, iTunes, music
- that's good. Not that I buy music in iTunes (I use Spotify), but I think it should work exactly as it works for apps. You should be able to download your music how many times you want on how many devices you want.

Garageband For iPad - Apple Embraces Portable Music Production
- I think this is brilliant! Releasing GarageBand for the iPad will make people start using their iPads for creating and not only for consuming. This will also make more developers create professional apps for iOS. The ipad will see a lot of really professional apps this year. I am sure of that. And also, $4.99 for GarageBand is a bargain! So cheap! Amazing.
Skyfire 3.0 for iPhone - A lot better now
- Version 3 of Skyfire web browser for iPhone looks a lot better. Now it has a lot more cool useful features. It doesn't beat all the sharing and blogging features in my favorite web browser though: Cyberspace
Is Apple's iPad 2 a Nintendo-Sony-Microsoft Killer? - Yes. Play on the big screen!
- the iPhone already is, so the iPad 2 will be too. The iPad 2 has HDMI mirroring working for all apps. That means games too. It also means that you can play games on your HDTV in 1080p! Now that I call awesome! And the iPhone 4 can play games in 720p. Think about it, it means that iPhones and iPads gets gaming controls for the big screen. It's like playing Nintendo Wii with hand controls with a wire instead of wireless. You have the motion control built in to the iOS device. Games are so cheap on iOS so they sell a lot of them. You rather buy 10 games for the same price as one on the Nintendo Wii...
The iPad is a Post-PC so the total experience is more important than hardware specs
- The iPad is a Post-PC so the total experience is more important than hardware specs. And I like that. Thats why Apple makes such good products.
Of course it's great if it's true that the iPad 2 has 512MB, but if it's not, I think it's enough for the enjoyable experience anyway.
Steve Jobs: The tablet PC crashed & burned - so true, apple owns the tablet
- yes tablets where nothing until Apple released the iPad. And the iPad still IS "the tablet". Many people says "iPad" to all tablets. iPad 2 will make it even harder for all other tablets. They seem to have huge problems competing with price for example. I mean, looks at the iPad 1 now for example, $399 for a high end tablet that beats most of the competition! Apple rules the tablet world and will do that at least whole 2011. Personally I think they will do that in 2012 too.

Bing beats Yahoo globally for first time
- Microsoft's Bing beats Yahoo for the first time. Nothing to be so proud of though. Who uses Yahoo search except for Asia anymore? I can't even remember the last time I used Yahoo search.
Last-Minute iPad 2 Rumors Point at Larger Speaker, Tapered Design & Thunderbolt?
- well the "leaked" specs of iPad 2 is probably quite right (except for Thunderbolt maybe). The screenshots is hard to tell if true, I believe iPad 2 will be thinner.
Infographic: The history of mobile operating systems
Great infographic about the history of mobile operating systems. Maybe we will see one more later today at the Apple event (I will liveblog it)? iOS 5?
Flickr Is Now Available For Windows Phone 7
- cool, it looks even better than the iOS app somehow. Personally I don't need Flickr as much anymore since Google made Free storage in Picasa (under 800 pixels).

Steve Jobs said to be considering an appearance at Apple's iPad 2 event
- it would be awesome if Steve Jobs would appear on the iPad 2 event tomorrow, but I have a heard time believe in that. Sadly I think he is to sick for that..
Samsung gearing up for Galaxy Tab 8.9 inch model?
- what's between 7 and 10 in the picture above? Yes 8.9-inch. So yeah, we will probably see a 8.9-inch Tab from Samsung on March 22.
Facebook Improves Comments Across The Web with a new updated Comments box
Wow! This is quite huge. the new version can actually kill DISQUS and such sites.
Today, we’re launching updates to the Comments Box plugin with new moderation tools as well as features to improve the distribution and quality of comments on your site.
More Social Relevance
The upgraded Comments Box uses social signals to surface the highest quality comments for each user. Comments are ordered to show users the most relevant comments from friends, friends of friends, and the most liked or active discussion threads, while comments marked as spam are hidden from view.
Better Distribution
Comments can now be more are easily shared with friends or with people who like your Page on Facebook, opening up your content to a wider audience. If a user leaves the “Post to Facebook” box checked when she posts a comment, a story appears on her friends’ News Feed indicating that she’s made a comment on your website, which will also link back to your site.
Friends and people who like the Page can then respond to the discussion by liking or replying to the comment directly in the News Feed on Facebook or in the Comments Box on your site. Discussion threads stay synced across Facebook and on the Comments Box on your site regardless of where the comment was made.
Users will also receive a notification whenever another user replies to their comment. Clicking on the notification will take the user back to the web page where the comment originated, driving more traffic back to your site.

Paul Buchheit (Friendfeed, Facebook) Joins "MyLikes" - releases a mobile app
- Cool that Paul Buchheit (Former Friendfeed, Facebook guy) joins the board. I don't know if I will ever use MyLikes though.. Doesn't sound too cool.
Will iPad 2 be a lot thinner than than the first?
- a much thinner iPad could actually be what Apple will do to to make the iPad 2 "revolutionary", just like the first iPad was revolutionary in many ways. They could easily do it thinner because there is a lot of unused space inside.
Motorola - Webtop mode coming to all top-end phones
- Motorola's webtop mode is cool idea but too bad it's totally useless. It's so slooow! And why does it have the really slow Firefox browser? Doesn't Motorola know that it's a very non-modern browser? Almost like IE.. Why not use Chrome in the webtop? It's both lighter on the CPU and a lot faster. The webtop is more like a normal phone browser software that are available for different mobile phones..
LG Optimus 2X dual-core smartphone lands in Europe this month
So Europe will have the cool LG Optimus 2X Android phone this month already. This is one of the best Android phones on the market.
Motorola won't upgrade your XOOM to LTE if it's rooted - Good
- I've actually thinks that is the right thing to do by Motorola. I don't get it why it's necessary to Root, jailbreak our devices? I want to use my devices how they are meant to be used. I will never jailbreak or root my devices. Is the Android OS so bad so it needs rooting? Or why do you do it?
The iPad 2 is rubbish
- yes it's probably true that iPad 2 will not be revolutionary, but Apple doesn't need that because the iPad 1 was revolutionary enough. And I know Apple, I know that tomorrows event will be "magical" enough to sell a huge amount of iPads. That's for sure. One of the revolutionary things will be the price. No one will be able to compete with it's price. I am 100% sure about that. Another revolutionary thing will be software. It will run on the newest version of iOS, and iOS is already the most user friendly OS in the world, and it can only be better.
