Hootsuite announces that they have acquired TwitterBar and changes the name to HootBar. Now you can tweet directly from the Address Bar in Firefox. Even make advanced options like selecting which account and more. Too bad it's not available for Chrome or Safari. Maybe it will come?

Lol! Not so impressive stats ;) yeah Android tablets is a huge flop. It will be a flop until they have some real tablet apps and content like books, music and games. They also need to fix the fragmentation once for all. Compare 100000 Xooms since February with the estimated 2.5 millions iPad 2's sold in the first month! It just get silly, don't you agree?

There is already an easy fix for this dilemma. There is a free app to install on Mac OS X that reverses the scrolling :) I've installed it and hardly noticed the change because I use my iOS devices 98% of my time, so I am so used to that reverse scrolling so it feels natural on my Mac too.

I use Boxcar on my iOS devices and my Mac to monitor replies, retweets, new followers, new favorites. The best app there is for these kind of things. To monitor news I use Hootsuite but you can practically use any twitter app for that, or Twitter.com. So no need to use a clunky old Air app like Tweetdeck, and it really sucks on iPhone and iPad.

The absolute best iOS web Browser is Cyberspace. It has native support for TextExpander everywhere in the Browser. That means that you can use it in any form, comment boxes, blog poxes and such. It makes it very easy to type, code and blog. The built-in Scratchpad also supports Markdown. So you can use that to type blog posts and then share the finished post many services. So you can say that Cyberspace is a combined browser and blog editor. Sharing posts, images and such is very easy directly from the browser. Cyberspace also has a Text mode (instapaper) that makes it really fast to browse web pages. I use Cyberspace everyday to blog and share directly from the web.

What actually Google is doing by tightening policies to fix the Fragmentation and Crapware problems with Android is the right thing to do. If not, they will never be able to create an Eco system, or get apps for their tablets. It will also be very hard to have all the services they need, like bookstores, music stores, gameshops and such. They really has to stop the fragmentation, otherwise I think it will be too late for them to compete in the Tablet business.
