Hootsuite Acquires Swift App - The makers of the Hootsuite Android App

Days after launching its Android application, Hootsuite is announcing
that they haveacquired developer Swift App. This doesnft come as a
total surprise as Swift App was the company behind the development of
Hootsuitefs recent twitter client for Android

- Everybody knows that I'm a big fan of the Twitter client Hootsuite.
But not on the iPhone. The app simply has too little features.

But what I've seen the Android app is quite good.
So good that Hootsuite bought the developers :)

Tweetie 2 has been updated with Foursquare & Instapaper Mobilizer support

The great Twitter iPhone app Tweetie 2 has been updated with Foursquare
support and Instapaper Mobilizer integration.

Cool but at the moment I'm a Twittelator user until Tweetie adds some
features that is so cool so it worth switching again :)

Twitter launches its own URL service as a security measure

In an effort to battle Phishing attacks and other malicious messages
on their service, Twitter has beefed up security measures and
introduced a shortened URL, twt.tl. This new service routes all links
through their own systems, and hopes to screen out the junk. Question
is - will it work?
