Official Google Blog: Introducing Google Buzz

"Google Buzz is a new way to start conversations about the things you find interesting. It's built right into Gmail, so you don't have to peck out an entirely new set of friends from scratch — it just works. If you think about it, there's always been a big social network underlying Gmail. Buzz brings this network to the surface by automatically setting you up to follow the people you email and chat with the most. We focused on building an easy-to-use sharing experience that richly integrates photos, videos and links, and makes it easy to share publicly or privately (so you don't have to use different tools to share with different audiences). Plus, Buzz integrates tightly with your existing Gmail inbox, so you're sure to see the stuff that matters most as it happens in real time" Via

OK. I don't see it in my Gmail just yet, so I don't really know how good it is. If I can use Twitter Via Buzz I might like it. Read tweets and send tweets.

Here are some videos:

Twitter & Twitter Lists has replaced a lot for me

Twitter and Twitter Lists has replaced many things for me.
For example my need for using an RSS reader to find all the cool news.
Yesterday when I lay in my bed and reading on my iPhone as I usually
do, it struck me that I don't need Instapaper anymore either.
I just mark all the interesting stuff I find in my Twitter Lists as
favorites. Then I read them in Tweetie 2 when I got the time! Simple
and very effective!
Tweetie 2 even has a mobilize feature built in that creates a very
readable version of the webpage almost instantly.
You can turn that feature on or off just hos you want it. Exactly as
you can do with landscape mode. I don't want landscape mode when I
read in bed for example, and I don't want mobilizing of the web pages
when tweeting and blogging.
I have included som screenshots from Tweetie 2 how it can look like.

Why You Should Care About Twitter Lists

Twitter _ Lists svartling is following

By having lists integrated directly into Twitter’s API, you no longer have to choose a specific client just because you want groups. Most clients will implement Twitter lists in one way or another within the next month or so (it makes no sense for them not to) http://www.blackweb20.com/2009/11/09/why-you-should-care-about-twitter-lists/

- Great article about Twitter Lists.

Posterous killed the possibility to be an image host

Posterous has destroyed the possibility to be an alternative image host in Twitter clients instead of for example Twitpic.

Why is that?
Well they have changed the code so now when I post photos via twitter clients that supports posterous, they get autoposted to all my blogs and not only to Posterous.

I don't want My pictures posted to all my blogs!
I want it posted to my Posterous blog and in my tweet. Nothing else!

I know that it's Posterous that destroyed this and not all the clients like Tweetie 2, SimplyTweet and Seesmic!
It worked great in all of them until recently...

I've tried to contact Posterous about this but they don't answer...

Cliqset - A friendfeed-like service that looks promising

Cliqset's Social Identity Platform Gets A Real-Time Makeover - TechCrunch (blog)

TechCrunch (blog)

Cliqset's Social Identity Platform Gets A Real-Time Makeover
TechCrunch (blog)
Cliqset,  a Friend-Feed-like online identity platform has gone through several iterations but perhaps third time is a charm. Cliqset’s most recent platform tried to stitch together the social web by allowing users and developers build, organize and share social information across a wide variety of services. Similar to Friend-Feed and other social media aggregators, users could merge and share status updates, location, photos, and more into one platform. Today, Cliqset is jumping into the stream by launching interactive real-time functionality and redesigning the overall interface of the platform.

and more »

This looks very interesting.
I've got an account from these invites.
Havent tried it yet though..

TweetDeck Intros Twitter Directory, Expands Social Network Support

Clear benefits to the new TweetDeck, slugged with version number 0.3 include the ability to browse Facebook and Twitter together in parallel. Should you be one of the odd users who also manages an active MySpace profile, then the story gets even better.
I don't get it why not more users will use PeopleBrowsr instead of TweetDeck? It has all these cool features and alot more! And you can run it in your Browser instead of a memory hogged AIR app!
